The CACTE Awards Program seeks to promote excellence in career and technical education by recognizing individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the field of career and technical education, programs which exemplify the highest standards, and organizations which have conducted activities to help promote and expand career and technical education program.

The CACTE Awards Program is administered by the Association's Awards Committee. The Committee, chaired by an individual selected by the current CACTE President, is responsible for recommending awards programs to the Association's Board of Directors, setting criteria for awards, reviewing applications and recommending award recipients to the Board. All nominees need to include the CACTE Nomination Cover Form.
