CACTE LEGISLATIVE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR MEMBERS!

CACTE is excited to announce the second year of a great opportunity for members interested in legislative issues!  The Colorado Association for Career and Technical Education Legislative Fellowship provides an opportunity for CTE educators to become familiar with the processes used by policymakers. This includes the development and implementation of laws, acts, regulations, and other public policies at the local, state, and federal levels. This is a two-year fellowship that focuses on Colorado during the first year and then focuses nationally for the second year. Having a strong understanding of policy and legislation is critical to being an effective advocate for CTE.

Applications are due by Friday, August 22, 2025.  Decisions will be made by the CACTE Legislative Committee and applicants notified as soon as possible.  The program officially starts on September 15, 2025.
