CACTE LEGISLATIVE FELLOWSHIP - A GREAT LEARNING OPPORTUNITY!

CACTE is excited to announce an opportunity for members interested in legislative issues!  The Colorado Association for Career and Technical Education Legislative Fellowship provides an opportunity for CTE educators to become familiar with the processes used by policymakers. This includes the development and implementation of laws, acts, regulations, and other public policies at the local, state, and federal levels. The two-year fellowship focuses on Colorado during the first year and then focuses nationally for the second year. Having a strong understanding of policy and legislation is critical to being an effective advocate for CTE. This fellowship will equip the CTE educator with the knowledge, strategies, and roadmap needed to become informed and impactful advocates for Career and Technical Education.

Applications will open July 21 and are due by Sunday, September 6, 2026.  Decisions will be made by the CACTE Legislative Committee and applicants notified as soon as possible.  The program officially starts on September 28, 2026.
