The CACTE Professional Development Grant was created to support our members' ability to access professional growth opportunities. By expanding one’s capacity and knowledge within the education system, members can create systems to more effectively support their roles and their stakeholders.

Guidelines

• Grants provides a reimbursement to meet or offset the cost of professional development.

• Grant funds are NOT to intended to support the acquisition of certifications.

• After the event, approved grant funds will be paid to the individual CACTE member, upon receipt/verification of required documentation.

• Grant funds cannot be made payable to anyone other than the member receiving the funds.

• If the recipient has costs paid by an employer in advance, the recipient will need to coordinate repayment independently.

• Additionally, it is the expectation of the recipient to ensure that all funds, from all sources, are not above the actual costs of the PD event. 

The CACTE PD Grants were revived in 2023 as a member benefit.

    2022-2023:  $5,000 budgeted; 3 grants awarded for $2600

    2023-2024:  $10,000 budgeted; 6 grants awarded for $9770

    2024-2025:  $15,000 budgeted; 8 grants awarded for $8440
