Congratulations to EMILY BAYLIE, July's CACTE Member of the Month!Â
Emily Baylie is a dedicated agricultural educator and community leader who has a true passion for agriculture and education. She grew up on her family’s cow/calf and wheat operation north of Limon, Colorado and holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education with a minor in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Colorado State University, as well as a Master of Science in Agricultural Education and Communications from Kansas State University.
Currently serving as the Agricultural Education Instructor at Limon Public Schools, Emily works to cultivate leadership, career opportunities, and strong work-based learning experiences for youth. Her diverse professional background also includes serving as a County Director of Extension for Colorado State University Extension, a Local Teacher Success Coordinator for Colorado Agricultural Education, and a National FFA Teacher Ambassador. Driven by a passion for rural community development and youth growth, she continues to serve on local leadership boards and champion agricultural literacy. Emily is active in CVATA, the Agriculture Education Division of CACTE and represents CVATA on the CACTE Board.
