CONGRATS TO CACTE'S NEW LEGISLATIVE FELLOW!

Congratulations to JORDAN KARLBERG, chosen as the new CACTE LEGISLATIVE FELLOW! Jordan is starting a 2-year fellowship program in conjunction with the CACTE Legislative Committee to develop a strong understanding of state and national CTE policy. Thanks to the CACTE Legislative Committee for their hard work in managing this opportunity!
From Jordan's application letter: "As a Fellow I hope to:
advocate for a more standardized and accessible credentialing process that makes it easier for industry professionals to bring their expertise into the classroom;
help to strengthen regional industry-sector partnerships and create clearer pathways
into apprenticeships and long-term career advancement;
apply what I learn within my district (Greeley D6) and region by serving as a conduit between state-level fiscal and regulatory policy and the educators, counselors, administrators, and advisory committees implementing CTE programs; and
deepen my understanding of school finance, state budgeting, and legislative policy while learning directly from experienced advocates and lawmakers."
NIKKI CARTER will continue as the year 2 CACTE Legislative Fellow, serving as a mentor to Jordan and learning more about advocacy at the national level.
